GOMC 2016: Adviso’s Co-founders Reward HEC Montreal Team

Adviso’s Co-founders Simon Lamarche and Jean-François Renaud awarded a $5,000 grant to students Arnaud Genet Cyr, Laurier Balthazard, Maxime Gagnon Godard and Jérémie Prégent to highlight the team’s excellent performance in the 2016 edition of the Google Online Marketing Challenge.

The recipients, all part of HEC Montreal Master of Science in Electronic Commerce program, managed to rank in the world’s top 20% teams by developing a campaign for Cyclingoutlet.ca during this global competition in which took part more than 10,000 students grouped in 2,100 teams coming from 61 countries.

As from the first GOMC 2016 preparatoty coaching session, these four guys were very motivated and stood out from the rest of the group. We already knew they were going to succeed in the challenge
