Destination Québec cité entrusts Adviso with a third consecutive mandate
For the third year in a row, Destination Québec cité (DQc) has renewed its business relationship with Adviso, which provides support through its planning and media services, as well as its SEO, analytics and data science expertise. DQc has also asked Adviso to assist with the design of its email marketing strategy.
Working together through the turbulence of the last few years, filled with many unforeseen events and changes for the tourism industry, DQc and Adviso have succeeded in presenting the region of Quebec City in the best possible light—as a first-rate destination the equal of others around the world.
Since the summer of 2022, the destination’s performance has exceeded expectations, as seen in the hotel occupancy rate, which at times has reached up to 90%. The most recent summer campaign also exceeded a number of pre-established targets, such as those for video views (overshooting the initial goal by 248% with 108 M views) and website traffic.
In addition, supported by the implementation of an agile methodology focused on data, occupancy rates in the Quebec City region soared. Although the region had some of the lowest occupancy rates in the country, it moved into first place in Canada last July, in addition to ranking in the top three all summer long, a sign of the campaign’s lasting impact.
Impressed by the strategy employed as well as the use of tools such as Google Data Studio and Campaign Manager 360, the team at Google even recently published a case study on Think with Google highlighting the exceptional results obtained by Destination Québec cité in recent years.
