Diane Lafontaine joins Adviso's advisory committee

Adviso is greatly honoured to welcome Diane Lafontaine to its advisory committee, which has been bringing together industry leaders in business and digital for the past 19 years, practically since the company’s very beginnings. Ms. Lafontaine joins Mr. Jean-René Halde, Mr. Stéphane Gagné and Mr. Jacques Nantel, who currently comprise the committee. Her experience will be an asset when it comes to guiding the firm’s overall strategic directions.

The past few months have seen the acceleration of companies’ digital transformations. For that reason I feel super enthusiastic to be joining the advisory committee of Adviso — a visionary organization that was natively digital well before it had become popular or necessary. Its leadership never stops reinventing itself. Also, they speak a language I recognize — results and performance! – Diane Lafontaine

Having occupied leadership roles in a variety of sectors, including more than 12 years at Radio-Canada and eight at Sun Life, Diane Lafontaine has built a solid background in customer experience. Having taken an active part in governance for years, she occupies a seat on a number of boards, including those for Collège des administrateurs de sociétés (CAS) and the Institut national de santé publique du Québec (INSPQ). With diplomas from Ottawa University, École nationale d’administration publique (ENAP) and Université Laval, she is an accredited Administratrice de sociétés certifiée (ASC and C.Dir.). She lives to bring talented people together around an inspiring vision and applies a strategic approach to create value for organizations and satisfaction for teams. Building on the strength of her unifying leadership and results-focused management style, Diane loves to pull off transformations. Her management values are listening, respect, authenticity, curiosity and ambition. Her approach can be summed up in the Tom Peters phrase “What gets measured, gets done.”

Adviso has big projects coming in the next few years, particularly an entrepreneurial succession project. Diane’s experience in governance, her leadership and her road map for showcasing our talent are essential skills for the success of our growth and succession plans. We feel like we’re really being spoiled by having her on our advisory committee. – Jean-François Renaud, Partner and Co-founder
