Adviso acquires Digito, a specialized web analytics firm

Montreal, March 17 2014 — Adviso is acquiring Digito, an agency specializing in digital analytics and official Adobe Marketing Cloud Partner in order to improve its service offering. This acquisition reinforces Adviso’s positioning as it becomes one of the very few canadian agencies Adobe Marketing Cloud Partner. Having mastered the main web analytics tools, Digito will enable Adviso to strengthen its knowledge and propose more effective strategies. In addition, Adviso will increase its market share as they will also acquire Digito’s impressive client portfolio such as Clarks, Rogers and Air Canada and several leading American retailers.

For over a decade, Adviso has differentiated themselves from its competitors by developing extensive strategy, media buy, SEO and social media knowledge which has enabled them to optimize online strategies for over 500 clients. The Digito acquisition will complete Adviso’s service offering and solidify their position among Canadian web marketing leaders.

An advantageous acquisition


Farès Aldik, Digito’s founder and now Adviso’s data & analytics director states that the decision to merge both companies was mutual: “We were drawn to Adviso’s dedicated web marketing team as they were obsessed with finding new ways to improve web analytics.” With over 10 years of web analysis and team management experience, notably at Bell and Cardinal Path, Farès was the ideal candidate for this position.

He will be responsible for strengthening Adviso’s Adobe Marketing Cloud, including Adobe Analytics, Target and Audience Manager expertise. These highly-specialized softwares will enable them to collect customer experience data on numerous online platforms. In addition, Farès brings extensive data visualization and Big Data interpretation knowledge. His skill set will allow them to deploy high-level strategies by utilizing stronger data.
