The redesign of our website required a solid expertise in tourism and an in-depth knowledge of the interactive strategy. This one-year project, involving three independent firms (strategy, design, construction) required a role of conductor that Adviso fully ensured. And finishing in the first place of the search engines remains proof of the work accomplished and the correctness of the strategy.

Design an inspiring and useful visual site for the potential and destination traveler where the accommodation and transport booking engine is the cornerstone of the site

CHALLENGES RELATED TO THE PROJECT

Facilitate and encourage the process of requesting accommodation reservations and local transport given the remoteness and insularity of the destination (limited capacity)
Facilitate the consultation of the contents of the site as much according to the needs of the travelers outside destination as at destination and this, on all the platforms (mobile, tablet and desktop)
Ensure the visibility of the 350 members and partners on the site while generating additional revenue for Tourisme Îles de la Madeleine
Increase the number of qualified visitors to the site while taking into account the strong seasonality of the destination

STRATEGIES DEPLOYED BY ADVISO

Present the booking and accommodation engine in the center of the homepage in an oversized format and on the most relevant pages of the site
Create an adaptive site, which adapts to all screen sizes
Facilitate the search for activities and outings on site thanks to the facets by date of arrival and departure
Define relevant and non-intrusive paid visibility options for the user
