A site is like a store window; before you decorate the window, you have to clean the inside of the store. TP1 and Adviso opened up a world of possibilities for us. They helped us identify benchmarks, and showed us how these standards could work for the STM brand.

STM – REFOCUSING THE STM SITE ON USER NEEDS

A site redesign project for the STM, where the user came into play at each stage of the process, from inspiration to testing and everything in between. The project was executed in partnership with TP1.

CHALLENGES RELATED TO THE PROJECT

Redesign of one of the main most visited sites in Quebec which enjoys a higher satisfaction rate of 85% of its users
Ensure a consistent version of the site regardless of the type of device used
Prioritize and prune content based on user needs
Simplify interfaces and focus on core tasks

STRATEGIES DEPLOYED BY ADVISO

Use different user research techniques (sorting of files, user tests, focus group, "Beta Tester" to understand the main content that interests users and validate the functionalities and interactions designed
Complete and barrier-free integration of web and mobile versions.
Highlight the tools most used by public transport users: route planning, search for maps and timetables and consultation of fares
Implement Google Tag Manager to optimize the use of site event tracking
