Adviso is searching for a media strategist to add to its team of experts. As someone equipped with solid media experience, this person will be entrusted with defining and deploying creative, innovative media strategies that contribute to our clients’ success.
The selected individual will apply their high-level strategic thinking to measure the overall impact of brand media campaigns on our clients’ business results. This person will also be required to adopt a performance-based approach to optimize campaign results and promote brands with a skilful mix of innovation, creativity, and strategic thinking based on data.

On a daily basis, you’ll be planning creative, high-performance campaigns while building solid client relationships. Your goal will be to identify and exploit promising business opportunities that let you elevate your business relationships to the next level and optimize our clients’ business performance.
A typical day will involve:
- Designing and planning creative, high-performance media strategies that fulfill the business needs and goals of agency clients
- Analyzing, synthesizing, interpreting, and explicating data used to identify business opportunities and supporting the strategies proposed
- Tracking the execution and optimization of media plans with partners in order to maximize the efficiency of proposed actions and reach established goals and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Applying strategic thinking that goes beyond paid media by working together with specialists from every area of expertise (the digital experience and data intelligence team, creative agency, offline media team, digital media performance team, and client or product experts)
- Maintaining fruitful relationships with our various partners and collaborators
- Working together with a tight-knit team for whom knowledge sharing and mutual support are part of their everyday lives
This professional challenge is for you if you have:
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in media, including three (3) years in digital media planning
- A university degree related to the position
- Experience planning major campaigns that contribute to developing brand recognition
- Experience with negotiation and with direct buying (premium, content, influencer marketing)
- An excellent grasp of French and English, both oral and written, is necessary to ensure effective interactions with our national and international customers, as well as to ensure optimal management of content and tools in our day-to-day operations, and to foster technological innovation in our areas of expertise
- The right to work in Canada
You would be ahead of the competition if you had the following assets:
- A good understanding of the main digital media platforms: Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Demand-Side Platform (DSP)
- Experience in 360 media planning (digital, TV, radio, OOH, and print)
