iOS 6's biggest change for your business: Yelp integrated into the Maps app
Apple's new operating system for iPhones and iPads, iOS 6, hit tens of millions of iPhone phones yesterday. One major change that stood out from this update is the switch from Google Maps to TomTom Maps for Maps app that comes with the operating system. It is one of the most used applications.
Now, here is a point in this application change that will directly impact your business : whereas before, Google Maps took your business information from Google Places, the TomTom Maps application collects your information from your Yelp page ! If you're unfamiliar with Yelp, it's a social network where you can give ratings and reviews to businesses. Whether you're a dentist, a cobbler, or you own a restaurant, you're dealing with being on Yelp.

It is therefore very important, right now, to go and do a search on the Yelp site and make sure that your business is there . Next, make sure your information is correct. For this, it may be necessary to take control of your business page!
To take ownership of your page, click on the “Do you work here?” link. as shown below.

It's easy to prove you're a business owner on Yelp if your email address includes your business name. If not, Yelp offers an automated phone call system to prove it's your business:

Now comes the time to fill in all the information about your business, if it hasn't already been done. Yelp offers you by default to fill in certain information such as specialties, executive biographies and history. Depending on the type of business, there are different options.
There you are, you are up to date in your Yelp profile and therefore in the iOS 6 Maps application!
Now, don't forget to pay a visit to the comments section of your page to make sure that everything said there is true and that no facts are to be reestablished!
Thomas.

Learn how to use content to improve the performance of your campaigns
From the earliest days of social media, content has been positioned as being the key to a brand’s image, communications and storytelling. Optimizing interaction channels and drive-to-web incentives
An increasing number of companies understand the benefits of offering pertinent online information and services to their corporate and individual customers. Thanks to such online activities, businesses gain from lower operating costs and customers are more satisfied with the relationship they have with the company. Though the web proves to be more efficient for customers in many situations, it is still necessary to guide and ease their transition from other interaction channels (such as store branches, telephone, business e-mails and other peripheral sites) to benefit fully from the online channe …
