Adviso accelerates Simons’ growth across Canada

For the past several months, adviso has been working with Simons to lead its performance media strategy and support its expansion across the rest of Canada.

This new pan-Canadian growth partnership has enabled Simons to generate 48% revenue growth compared with 2024, with a budget increase of just 4%—a collaboration that is already proving its value.

“This first year of collaboration with adviso has been very positive. The team quickly understood our challenges, proposed high-performing optimizations, and maintained a proactive, attentive approach throughout an important year marked by the opening of our first stores in Toronto,” said Étienne Bellavance Martin, Marketing Director at Simons.

In a context where retail—both physical and digital—is changing rapidly, the challenge goes beyond simple visibility and conversion volume. The objective is to increase brand awareness in new markets while optimizing advertising investments based on one central metric: overall profitability.

Beyond traditional indicators such as CPM and CPC, adviso structures its media strategy around real contribution to profit, regardless of where the transaction takes place—online or in-store. By combining omnichannel strategy, unified data, modelling, and advanced performance measurement, adviso is supporting Simons on a consistent growth trajectory despite an unstable economic environment for the retail industry.

The Quebec-based company is also continuing its national growth with the opening of two new flagship stores in Toronto, at Yorkdale Shopping Centre and CF Toronto Eaton Centre—an investment of more than $75 million that will create hundreds of jobs.

“In an environment where media costs are rising and purchase journeys are becoming increasingly fragmented, the role of media is to orchestrate growth according to the maturity of each market. In Quebec, the objective is to strengthen the loyalty of an already engaged customer base. In the rest of Canada, we are focused on acquiring high-value new customers, particularly by accelerating adoption of the Simons app, a key lever for building a lasting relationship,” said Nicolas Villeneuve, Media Practice and Operations Director and Partner at adviso

For adviso, this collaboration illustrates the relevance of an integrated approach that connects data, strategy, and performance to support homegrown brands in their national expansion.
