SEO and Content Marketing Practice Lead

Adviso is currently searching for a content marketing and SEO practice lead to complete its Data and Customer Experience team.

In this position, you will be responsible for establishing Adviso’s best practices and quality standards in search engine optimization (SEO). You will become the primary technical and strategic resource in SEO for your team and for our range of major clients, whether that involves identifying major technical issues or creating content strategies that fulfill our clients’ business objectives. To this end, you will collaborate on a daily basis with your team members as well as with other specialized services at Adviso (Media, Insights, UX/CRO, etc.).

A typical day will involve:

  • Driving the identification, testing and implementation of innovative SEO solutions to strengthen our position as an industry leader
  • Managing complex SEO projects, targeting mainly medium- and large-sized businesses, and providing daily support to the team to guarantee delivery of the highest quality services to our clients
  • Finding creative solutions to help our clients do more with less through the use of new technologies, such as generative AI for SEO
  • Making significant contributions to business development by working closely with sales and advisory teams, and playing a key role in planning mandates, thereby stimulating the team’s growth
  • Actively sharing your point of view on SEO, both internally and externally, including with our clients, to promote and add value to this practice within the industry (conferences, training sessions, events, articles, etc.)
  • Staying up to date on the most recent advances in SEO in the industry so you can position yourself as the ultimate authority in your field of expertise
  • Working closely with managers to promote the professional development of SEO experts within the team (training and coaching)

This professional challenge is for you if you have:

  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in SEO and content marketing
  • A university degree related to the position (an asset)
  • An excellent understanding of the technical aspects of the web and of SEO
  • Hands-on experience with new AI and generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Bard, Perplexity, Midjourney, etc.) and a notable interest in the evolution of search behaviours with the emergence of AI (SGE, Bing Copilot) 
  • A good grasp of the main tools for SEO, such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Keyword Cupid, Frase, etc.
  • A good understanding of the main tools in data analytics, such as Google Analytics 4, BigQuery and Looker Studio 
  • An excellent grasp of French and English, both oral and written, is necessary to ensure effective interactions with our national and international customers, as well as to ensure optimal management of content and tools in our day-to-day operations, and to foster technological innovation in our areas of expertise 
  • The right to work in Canada
