Adviso is currently searching for a media strategist and team leader to complete its team of experts. Based on their experience gained over the years in media, the person selected for the position will be responsible for defining and deploying creative, innovative media strategies that will contribute to the success of our clients. This person will also be responsible for continually supporting the professional development of a team of media experts. 

Are you recognized for your people skills, natural leadership abilities and facility with  coaching your peers? Are your work habits rigorous and organized and do you have a systematic way of looking at things? Do you have extensive knowledge of media ecosystems and have you already deployed major campaigns? On a daily basis, you’ll be planning ambitious media campaigns and building solid client relationships with the goal of developing fruitful business opportunities that will not only improve your clients’ performance, but also transform your partnership with them.

A typical day will involve:

  • Planning and developing integrated media strategies that fulfill the needs and business goals of agency clients
  • Analyzing, consolidating, interpreting and explicating data used to target business opportunities and support proposed strategies
  • Tracking the execution and optimization of media plans with partners to maximize the effectiveness of suggested actions and reach established goals and key performance indicators (KPI)
  • Managing your team’s performance towards the achievement of their professional objectives, including: tracking the team’s activity level, tracking the evolution of client projects, and validating the quality of deliverables, the performance of results and the overall satisfaction of clients
  • Managing team members: coaching and managing a team of around five employees, supervising the integration, evaluation and professional development of employees

This professional challenge is for you if you have: 

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in media, including 4 in digital media planning
  • Experience in planning and direct buying (premium, content, influencer marketing)
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in management
  • A university degree related to this position
  • An excellent command of French and English, both oral and written
  • The right to work in Canada

You’ll be ahead of the pack if you have the following assets: 

  • A good understanding of the main digital media platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, demand-side platforms (DSP))
  • Experience in 360 media planning (digital, TV, radio, display and print)
