The challenge of any acquisition is of course to succeed in integrating the acquired entity in order to maximize the positive spinoffs. In this sense, Google is slowly starting to migrate YouTube users to a Google account.
When Yahoo did the same for Flickr, there was an uproar . Will it be the same for Google?
Are some people going to find that Google's mission (don't be evil) is losing some of its value and that our good friend is becoming a "big brother" who knows a little too much about us?
